Fupa - Fermator En81-20/50 Seminar / Istanbul - Mesan Asansör

As part of our company’s marketing plan, the fifth edition of our ongoing event series—initiated in the second half of 2017—was successfully held at the Istanbul Kaya Ramada Hotel Conference Hall. The event was organized in collaboration with MESAN ASANSÖR, FUPA LIFT, and FERMATOR.

The event commenced with an opening speech by Mr. Can Latif, Member of the Board of Fupa Lift. Following the introduction, Mr. Metin Ağaya, Fupa Lift’s Manufacturing and R&D Manager, delivered a presentation titled "Overview of EN 81-20/50". In his presentation, he shared key insights about the standards and referred to the communiqué published by the Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology on June 14, 2017. Highlighting the essential clauses, Ağaya explained the safety requirements for both passengers and installers. His presentation was interactive, featuring a Q&A session where he clearly conveyed the recent changes in the standards.

Next, Mr. Murat Camgöz, Director for Türkiye and the Middle East at Fermator, took the stage. After showing a short introductory film about Fermator, he presented the Fermator Commercial Overview.

Mr. Eduard Amigo, Fermator’s Global Sales Director, followed with his remarks. Emphasizing that Fermator is a family-owned company, he provided an overview of the company's global presence and highlighted Fermator’s unwavering focus on automatic door manufacturing over the past 40 years. He also underlined the importance Fermator places on the Turkish market.

EN 81-20/50 Compliance of Fermator Doors

Following Mr. Camgöz, Mr. Yalçın Araz, Fermator’s After-Sales Support Representative, presented "EN 81-20/50 Compliance of Fermator Doors". Accompanied by informative slides, Araz explained the updates made to Fermator doors in accordance with the new standards. His session was also interactive, with time allocated for audience questions and answers.

After the lunch break, Mr. Araz returned to present information on Fermator’s newly developed Elite door model. In the final session of the event, he delivered a training presentation titled "VVVF5 & VVVF7 Operator Card Training", where he explained the differences between the VVVF5 and VVVF7 electronic door controllers and provided detailed information on the new VVVF7 card's features, supported by usage slides.

The event concluded with a closing speech by Mr. Murat Girgin, Chairman of the Board of Mesan. Expressing his satisfaction with the success of the event, Mr. Girgin extended his gratitude to all participants.
